After graduating with a fashion merchandising degree, Amanda spent 6 years at Ralph Lauren learning the corporate world of fashion but she always knew she would follow in her family's footsteps and design her own line. Her mother owned a popular children's boutique and her father is an artist, sculptor and painter - they helped form her appreciation for good design but it was her grandmother's extensive jewelry collection that inspired her to start her own jewelry line.

Amanda's Breast cancer collection is a stunning assortment of earrings and necklaces handmade with 14K gold-filled wire and pink quartz or pink opals. Each piece is named after a friend who has survived breast cancer or who is currently undergoing treatment. An enclosed card honors that friend. The Tara necklace features 5 faceted pink quartz stones dangling from Amanda's signature 14K gold hand wrapped circle. It is approximately 16" long. This necklace is in honor of Tara Hohenberger who has survived Breast Cancer at the age of 35 and is still Cancer-free.
