They started in 1989 in San Francisco with the mission to create beautiful frames, stationery and other ephemera with an old world style that resembles the look of 19th century Florence, Italy BE (before e-mail). These frames are hand-crafted and hand-painted in Italy and and are backed with stunning Florentine paper. You might not even want to put photos in them! They make a great gift on their own for a new baby, newlyweds, Mother's day or a housewarming gift. These frames are classic and timeless. The Classico cream frame was our choice for a "colored" frame because it could work beautifully as wedding frame or a new baby frame (either gender) and since it is hand-painted in a creamy white makes it also perfect for any decor or color scheme in the house. The outside and inside edges are painted in gold and the frame is backed with a beautiful brown Florentine design.
