After the success of our small mercury glass votives, we thought it was time to add on to our mercury glass assortment. It is such a timeless and and elegant look. Mercury glass, invented in 1849 and first produced in Bohemia (now the Czech Republic), was once thought of as a sterling silver copy, but now it is revered for its unique beauty even with its imperfections. This set is not antique, but it has all the lovely characteristics of the old art form.

Each chalice, based on antique footed glasses, is different and the set includes 6 votives ranging from 2 3/4" - 4" diameter and 4"-5 3/4" in height. These will beautify your table for a dinner party and add that special ambiance for the holidays. Decorate your mantel with them or put a different votive throughout your home; each one can certainly stand on its own.
