Sisco Berluti
Lisa Sisco and Carolyn Berluti, the duo behind Sisco Berluti (formerly
Sisco Family Jewels), are sisters
from a large, close-knit Italian family. Drawn to the many varieties and
textures of both new and
vintage beads from around the word, Sisco and Berluti began stringing
bracelets as a way to satisfy their
creative passions. They created sets of 7 bracelets, each one
representing a member of
the family, and called them “Families.” At first, the bracelets were a
personalized way to gift family
members and friends, but quickly became a coveted commodity through word
of mouth among
discerning consumers and buyers of high-end boutiques. Within a short
time, Sisco Berluti has become
a highly sought-after brand seen on many a celebrity such as Leighton
Meester, Miley Cyrus, Anne Hathaway, Halle Berry, Selena Gomez and
Jessica Alba (to name a few).
The family team uses the success of their jewelry line to help causes that carry significant meaning for
their family, including Half the Sky Foundation, working to care for orphans in China, and Ovations for
the Cure of Ovarian Cancer.
The
beaded bracelet is quite a trend and we've seen them at very low
prices and extremely high prices and some with charms and some without
and we just couldn't find the right line. But when we saw Sisco
Berluti, we knew we found just the right line of beaded bracelets that
are sophisticated and stunning and at a great price! The gemstones and
beads that
they use are gorgeous and they offer a beautiful selection of fun
colors
and stones. The added touch of the gold or
rhinestone bead is a great way to dress up a simple style in their
signature way. These are all handmade in the USA on stretchy cord and
fit just about everyone. They are meant to be layered, collected and
enjoyed. We like mixing them with leather bracelets like from Chan Luu or friendship bracelets from Shashi
for a more casual look. For a dressier look, pick the color or color
combinations that will accent your outfit. You can also wear two or
three of the same color. The possibilities are endless!
