Description   Exclusive to Orange and Pear are these beautifully made and ultra chic stroller quilts, designed and handmade by Sarina Galu of chickiddie. She received a lovely handmade quilt at the birth of her second son, Tucker. The quilt was simple and traditional and comprised of several vintage fabrics that reminded Sarina of her own childhood. It soon became Tucker's favorite "bankie" and it never leaves his side. Inspired by this adored and special piece, Sarina, along with her friend Nicole, came up with a fabulous quilt design that respects the traditional craft but offers a modern interpretation with bold and vintage inspired fabrics mixed together. The square sizes are larger than your traditional quilt and an added orange ribbon band at the corner allows the quilt to be shortened and then carried with ease by the child. You simply pull the opposite corner through the band; the quilt becomes shorter but still cuddly and the child won't drag or trip on it- genius! All the quilts are handmade to order, allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. The fabrics are all handpicked and are of excellent quality to withstand multiple washings. The fabrics, threads and batting are all 100% cotton and machine washable. Fabrics are all pre-washed before a quilt is made. The "Down to Earth" quilt is a little retro and very cool. It includes a great vintage car pattern, pigs, jackrabbits and stripes. Some of the pigs have little spider webs on them in deference to Charlotte's Web. Aaaaw. Little geckos adorn the back. The color palette is a modern combination of mustard, jade green, brown and oatmeal. So cool, so unique and perfect for that hip little boy! 35" x 24" made in the USA machine washable
